Our MEWP operator certification ensures that workers fully understand their responsibilities, workplace hazards, and best practices when safely operating MEWPs. This training course is compliant with the training requirements of two CSA Standards:
CSA-B354.7, Mobile elevating work platforms - Safety principles, inspection, maintenance and operation, and
CSA-B354.8:17, Mobile elevating work platforms - Operator (driver) training.
This training will enhance any existing training and equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to safely navigate MEWPs, including scissor lifts. Pair this training with one of our fall protection courses for both training certification needs in the use of an MEWP.
Gold Seal Eligibility: This course is eligible for 1 Gold Seal Certification Credit from the Canadian Construction Association.

After completing the two online modules, learners will take a final exam to test their knowledge. Participants will have a maximum of three attempts to achieve a passing score of 75%.
Upon completion of the eLearning, a hands-on practical evaluation must be conducted by your employer, supervisor, or another qualified person. This process confirms the learner's real-world operating skills to achieve full certification.
